Doris Rodriguez's Obituary
Doris Rodriguez, 85, of Gainesville, FL, formerly of Levittown, NY, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016. She was born on May 13, 1931 in Puerto Padre, Las Tunas, Cuba to Pedro Pineda and Librada Marrero.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ray Rodriguez; her daughter, Iris Ariet, son-in-law, Mario Ariet, and three grandchildren, Mario, Christina, and Peter Ariet of Gainesville, FL; her brother, Bernabel Pineda of Orlando, FL; her sister, Petra Pineda of Holguin, Cuba, and many nieces and nephews both here and in Cuba.
She loved to cook, tend to her garden, and sew. She touched the lives of each person with even the simplest alteration of their clothing. She was a caring and selfless wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed and always remembered.
