Doris Quinn's Obituary
Doris E. Quinn, age 98 of High Springs passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014. She was born September 17, 1915 in Manchester, Connecticut to William and Sarah Freeburn McKay.
Doris enjoyed sewing, knitting, Garden Club in New Jersey, ceramics and dancing. She also enjoyed the beach and traveling. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, George Quinn.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald Quinn (Joan) and David Quinn (Nancy); grandchildren, Mathew Quinn (Alyssa), Dennis Quinn, Natalie Quinn, Ryan Quinn, Barbara Quinn Bush, Diane Nardella (Mike), Lorrie Schwartz (Steve) and great grandchildren, Mikey & Brady Nardella; Tyler & Dylan Schwartz; Allison, Amy, April and AJ Bush.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 5, 2014 at 10:30 AM in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street, with Rev. Jeff West officiating. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 S.W 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL at 2:00PM. Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service beginning at 10:00 AM.
