Donald A. Underwood's Obituary
Donald A. Underwood, age 78 of Gainesville, FL went to be with the lord on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. He was born July 17, 1945 in White Springs, FL to William and Margaret Underwood.
Donald graduated from Gainesville High School in 1963. He later joined the Navy and served 2 years active duty and transferred to the Navy reserves. He worked as a plumber until he retired.
He is survived by his children, Julie Moxley (John), Jillyan Beverly (Terry), Jennifer Brookins (Robert), Justin McCullors (Nichole); brother, Bill Underwood; sisters, Ann Groves, Margaret Fields; six grandchildren, Ellie, Josie, Donovan, Lula, Ruby and Harrison; mother-in-law, Mary Miller.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life Bonnie Sue Underwood.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Williams-Thomas Westarea 823 N.W. 143rd Street Newberry, FL. With Military Honors.
