Donald Paris "Don" Petrucci's Obituary
Donald Paris "Don" Petrucci, Jr. age 78 of Micanopy, Florida Passed away Friday, January 17, 2025. He was born February 20, 1946 in Lake City, Florida to Donald Paris, Sr. and Ruth Giebeig Petrucci.
Growing up, Don was an Eagle Scout. He was the Senior Class President of Gainesville High School Class of 1964 and attended the University of Florida. As a young man, Don was very active in the Gainesvlle Jaycees.
He was a builder and an entrepreneur in product development of innovative hazardous waste management systems.
Don was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing the Gulf as well as life in the North Carolina Appalachians, where Don and Susie treasured the memories of years at their secluded mountain home near Franklin, NC.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Susie Petrucci; son, Don Perucci, III ( Samantha}; sister, Linda Osman ( Lawrence "Buddy"); brother, Richard "Rick" T. Petrucci (Sayaka); grandchildren, Peter and Alyssa Petrucci.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
