Donald Kirk's Obituary
Donald Walter Kirk, beloved husband, son, and brother, passed away on March 2, 2022. Wally was born on September 18, 1951, in Takoma Park, Maryland, to Donald Kirk jr and Alice (Henderson) Kirk. He graduated from Admiral Farragut School in St. Petersburg, FL, and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management from Florida International School. He worked in the accounting department of the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences at the University of Florida.
On September 24, 1984, Wally married Pauline Joan Galambos in Gainesville. She survives him, as do his brothers Charles (Mary) of Keene, NH; William of Knoxville, TN; John of Seymour, TN; and James (Elizabeth) of Bonny Doon, CA; as well as three nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Mary and Sarah.
Wally will be remembered as a kind, thoughtful, and caring soul. A private family service will be held at a later date.
