Dona D. Thomas' Obituary
Dona D. Thomas, 84, of Ocala, FL died June 26, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lansing, MI on December 30, 1935 to Leo and Lillian Bixby James. Mrs. Thomas married her husband, William C. Thomas, and together they raised four children. They were married 64 years.
Dona was a homemaker most of her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Dona was an avid Gator fan. She loved to crochet and made Gator blankets for many people over the years. She even made Gator blankets for family members who cheered for rival teams! She will be greatly missed.
Dona is survived by her children Diane Lynn Thomas, Chuck Thomas, and Williams C. Thomas, Jr. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, her daughter Babs L. Thomas, and her four sisters.
She will be laid to rest with her husband at Florida National Cemetery.
