Ms. Dolores Hannon's Obituary
Ms. Dolores “Lorrie” Hannon (nèe Ingles) of Gainesville, FL passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 2, 2018. Ms. Hannon was born October 2, 1924 in Morrison, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents Charlie & Nora Ingles, her brothers Olen Ingles (Helen) and Melvin Ingles (Carlene), and her son-in-law Brian Comstock.
Ms. Hannon cherished spending time with her family who knew her best as GG. She loved to celebrate the Holidays creating and continuing many family traditions. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining guests. She liked arts and crafts. She liked shopping and fashion. She also had a passion for exercise, working as a Fitness Counselor for Gainesville Health & Fitness Center for 38 years before retiring last year.
Ms. Hannon is survived by daughters Pat Cruver (George) and Sandie Comstock; grandchildren Melissa Thonen (Roger), TR Woodrow (Tracy), and Robert Comstock (Kara); great-grandchildren Kaylee, Piper, Colin, and Caitlin; and multiple nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 N. Main St., Gainesville Friday, February 9th from 5:00-7:00pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Interlachen on Saturday, February 10th at 2:00pm with Fr. Ron Camarda as celebrant, with a reception to follow.
