Diane Cadden Nicholas' Obituary
Diane Cadden Nicholas, (79) passed away February 18, 2025, at Haven Hospice. She was born on October 31, 1945, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Anthony Cadden, MD, and Margaret Cunningham Cadden.
She graduated from Devine Savior Holy Angels Academy in 1963 and the University of Miami in 1967. She married James Nicholas in 1965. They have three daughters, Mary Nicholas of Gainesville, Molly Nicholas of Jacksonville, and Elizabeth (Betsy) Nicholas of Washington DC and two grandchildren Ryan Nicholas and Riley Knisley. She is survived by her husband, daughters, grandchildren and her sister, Nancy Mitchell, of Waukesha, Wisconsin. She devoted her life to supporting her husband James, raising her three daughters and caring for any stray animal in need of comfort. Her special loves were horses and dogs.
A gathering to honor Diane’s life will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Williams-Thomas Westarea, 823 N.W. 143rd St. Newberry, Florida 32669.
