Diane Young Brabham's Obituary
Diane Young Brabham, 75, of Alachua, FL went home to be with our Lord on October 1, 2018 at the E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville, FL. Diane was born in Fargo, GA on March 12, 1943.
Diane was a Medical Assistant for many years and loved taking care of others. She was also a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Joe Frank (Frankie) Brabham Jr., her daughter, Cindy Diane Brabham, her father, George Edward Young, her mother, Johnnie B. Young and her brother, James Edward Young.
She is survived by her sons Billy Joe Brabham and Joe Frank (Frankie) Brabham III (Tonya), her daughter Deborah (Debbie) Diane Asbell (Michael), her sister Blanche Havelock (James), her five granddaughters, Tara Hastings, Rachael Brabham, Heather Misinec, Stephanie Asbell and Elizabeth Brabham, her three great-grandchildren, her three step grandchildren and her four step great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Jonesville Baptist Church, 17722 S.W. 15th. Ave., Newberry, FL, with Rev. Corey Cheramie officiating. Burial will follow in the Jonesville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 N.W. 143rd. St., Newberry, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90th Blvd. Gainesville, FL 32606, Jonesville Baptist Church, or a charity of your choice.
