Diana Lynn Cox's Obituary
Diana Lynn Cox, age 63 of High Springs, Florida passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at her home. She was born November 23, 1954 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Clarence Wesley and Elizabeth Jane Wojtaszek Cox, Jr. Diana proudly served her country in the United States Navy from 1974 to 1978, serving in the Vietnam War. She enjoyed reading and playing video games, especially Final Fantasy. She loved watching the ID Channel and cooking shows, and she loved dark chocolate and Coke.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Wesley Cox. She is survived by her daughter, Toni Lynn Fulton of High Springs; adopted daughter, Sheryl Strickland of Gainesville, FL; two year old granddaughter, Shelby Elizabeth Thomas and brother, Jerry Lee Cox (Teresa) of Erie, PA.
A Memorial Service celebrating Diana’s life will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street. Inurnment with military honors will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Jacksonville National Cemetery.
