Dennis Scott Gerling, age 59, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024, in Gainesville, Florida. Dennis was born on June 20, 1964, in Redwood City, California to Steven Joel and Linda Louise Gamlin Gerling.
Dennis grew up in Marion County, Fl and moved to Gainesville 25 years ago. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and the beach.
Dennis worked at Gale Insulation and played a pivotal role in guiding the company’s success in his community. His commitment and tireless work ethic set a standard for all who had the privilege of working with him.
Dennis is survived by his mom, Linda; sons, Stephen, Kristopher, and Brandon; brother, Jeff; sisters, Connie, Tammy, and Debbie; and seven grandchildren. Dennis is also survived by his longtime companion, Alice.
A casual memorial reception will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 11:00am until 12:00pm at Williams-Thomas Westarea 823 N.W. 143rd Street Newberry, Florida.
