Demetri "Jimmy" Leonedos Indianos DMD's Obituary
Demetri “Jimmy” Leonedos Indianos, DMD, of Gainesville, Florida, died December 21, 2018.
Dr. Indianos came to Gainesville as a University of Florida undergraduate. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Doctor of Medical Dentistry. He remained a local fixture for the next 50 years. In that time, Dr. Indianos founded over 20 businesses that were not only cornerstones of the local Gainesville community, but spanned the entire state of Florida. His businesses ranged from real estate and restaurants, to sales, finance and politics.
Dr. Indianos was born in Long Island, New York on October 22, 1952. The son of William and Rose Raymond Indianos.
Survivors include his loving wife, Cathy Indianos; five children, Catie, Carolyn, Christie, Jimmy and William and four grandchildren; his sister and brother-in-law, Betsy and Doyle Morrison and brother-in-law, Paul Futch.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street. His children are dedicated to continuing the legacy of Dr. Indianos; in lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the Donald Trump 2020 reelection campaign #FL4.
