"Debbie" Deborah C. Johnson's Obituary
Deborah “Debbie” C. Johnson, age 62 of Gainesville passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024. She was born November 5, 1961 in Jacksonville, FL to William Roy and Azales Thrift Cannon.
She graduated from Eastside High School in 1979. She loved Gator Sports and auto racing. She was a big supporter of her husband, Wayne’s racing career. Tailgating with her neighbors and friends was her favorite. Debbie loved the beach.
Debbie is survived by her husband Wayne C. Johnson; children, Charlie Johnson (Dana) and Marcy Johnson; sister, Donna Smith (Gene); brothers, David Corbitt (Pat), Wayne Corbitt (Jenny) and Carey Corbitt (Donna), sister-in-law, Susie Petry and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Williams-Thomas Westarea, 823 NW 143rd Street, Newberry. Please wear your Gator attire!
