It's been abt 20 years since we last spoke or saw each other. I am sorry for that but you know my reasons now. No matter how much time goes by it doesn't change our past. I will always be grateful for the friendship we had David you meant a lot to me and were always like a brother. I know my mom was always tired of you being at the house asking her about her chicken and when she was going to be cooking it, lol. The nick names we came up with that you still go by (is mind blowing to me, but does not surprise me cause you looked like a dang turtle!) I definitely do not run like a cheetah anymore though lol. The pain in the ass that you were SO aggravating on purpose too, but funny, kind, caring, understanding. I'm sorry I didn't reach back out to you over the years but I do believe now this may have been a way to protect myself. I don't think I would have been able to handle your passing had we been in touch still. I will always cherish those school years at Talbot, Howard Bishop, our neighborhood run arounds in Apple Tree, bus talks and so much more. God bless your family and I send my condolences. He really was a good dude. If you needed anybody to talk to he was your guy, he would sit and listen. He also had the BEST sense of humor. He will be greatly missed
