David H. Greenberg's Obituary
David Greenberg, born March 6, 1941, in Hope, Arkansas, passed away on August 2, 2026, in Gainesville, Florida, where he had been a resident for 41 years.
He was the devoted son of Eathel and Oscar Greenberg and the beloved husband of Corinne Greenberg for 62 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. He is survived by his daughters, Tracy Wolff and Ashley Petzold, and by his cherished grandchildren, Hannah, Jake, and Grace. He is also survived by his brothers, Irv Greenberg and Bobby Greenberg.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. A proud member of the Masonic brotherhood, he lived with integrity, kindness, and quiet strength. He worked for many years as a salesman in medical supplies and men’s suits, where his warm personality and dedication left a lasting impression on those he met.
He also enjoyed reading, playing bridge, working in his yard, and golfing. These simple pleasures reflected a life well lived and deeply appreciated.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 5th from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Williams-Thomas Funeral Home 823 N.W. 143rd Street Newberry, Florida.
Funeral services for David will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Caruth-Hale Funeral Home 155 Section Line Rd. Hot Springs, Arkansas. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery with masonic honors.

He will be remembered most for the love he gave his family, the friendships he formed, and the joy and steadiness he brought to the lives of others.
