David Robert Buchan's Obituary
David Robert Buchan, age 96, of Gainesville passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at the E.T. York Hospice Care Center. He was born August 22, 1921 in Cottingham, England to Arthur Peters and Jane McElvie Buchan. David was a skilled, longtime landscaper. He was a beloved father and husband.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Buchan of Gainesville, and daughters, Rena Buchan of Gainesville, and Cynthia Buchan (husband, Matt Powers) of Atkinson, New Hampshire.
A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to Retirement Home for Horses, Inc., P.O. Box 2100, Alachua, FL 32616, or Haven Hospice, 4200 NW 90 Blvd, Gainesville, FL 32606.
