David Allen Adams' Obituary
David Allen Adams, 72, of Gainesville, Florida passed away peacefully on February 13, 2014 at E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville, Florida after battling a brief but severe illness.
He was born in Matoaka, West Virginia to the late Arthur Allen Adams and the late Viola Mabel (Rutledge) Adams on April 25, 1941. He married Judith Taylor on July 16, 1960.
Dave is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy Adams; two sons: Jeffrey Allen (Rhonda) Adams, Chad Lane (Laurie) Adams; four grandchildren: Emily (George) Fish, Jason, Shaun, and Chris Adams; a sister, Carolyn Brewer and a brother, Mike (Tanya) Adams. He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Viola Adams; a son, Gregory James Adams and a granddaughter, Audrey Ann Adams.
As per David’s request, there was no service or visitation. The family asks that friends consider making a donation to Haven Hospice in honor of David Adams. Celebration of his life will be held on March 29, 2014. Please contact Chad Adams ([email protected]) for further details.
