Daniel Mitchell Whitehouse's Obituary
Daniel Mitchell Whitehouse, age 78 of Archer, Florida, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025. He was born on January 5, 1947, in Bangor, Maine, to James Whitehouse and Margaret Sabin Whitehouse (Serrao).
Danny enjoyed woodworking, reading, and watching Gator athletics and the Boston Red Sox. He loved playing practical jokes on people. He retired from the University of Florida Department of Housing in 2009 after a dedicated career.
Danny is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jacquelyn Hines Whitehouse; son, Mitchell Whitehouse; daughter, Michelle McAvoy; grandchildren, Brogan and Halen; siblings, Richard Whitehouse, Brenda Smith, Tony Serrao, Tommy Serrao, Gilda Serrao, Augie Serrao, Tonette Ross; Michelle Deleon, Angie Jolley, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Serrao; brother, Robert Whitehouse; father, James Whitehouse.
Memorial services to honor the life of Danny Whitehouse will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2025, 11:00 am, at First Archer United Methodist Church, 17121 SW 137th Lane, Archer, FL.
