Cynthia Sophia George Braddock's Obituary
Cynthia Sophia George Braddock, age 69, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 with her family at the Hospice Care Center. She was born December 16th, 1946 in Queens Borough, New York.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy; daughter, Janet (spouse, Danny); son, Michael; brother, George, and adopted family members, Rita and Fred. She is also survived by nieces, Stacey, Kim, and Donna; nephew, Clifford; grandchildren Anthony, Tommy, Eric, Hunter, and Shelby; and chow-dunk, Lucy.
Cynthia was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt and friend. Cindy made her home in Gainesville, FL, and was a devoted and loving matriarch. For her family she held many titles: teacher, caretaker, gourmet chef, mentor and best friend. Cindy was also a dedicated Christian and role model for all who were fortunate to love and be loved by her.
A Time of Celebration with her family, friends, and guests will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street, Gainesville, FL 32601. In lieu of flowers, please make a heartfelt donation in Cynthia’s name to Haven Hospice, the Humane Society, or the ASPCA.
