Craig Stuart Oransky's Obituary
Craig Stuart Oransky, 26, lifelong resident of Gainesville, Florida, died Saturday, May 16, 2015, in an automobile accident.
Craig was born in Gainesville on June 10, 1988 and lived here his entire life, graduating from Buchholz High School, Class of 2006. He grew up an athlete, playing tennis, was a member of the Buchholz Tennis Team, and worked as a tennis pro for Gainesville Tennis Academy. Craig loved music and DJ’ing, and spending time with his many friends. He was preceded in death in 2002, by his mother, Joyce Debra Oransky.
He is survived by his father, Michael Scott (Karen Goodwin) Oransky, of Gainesville; his sister, Paige Oransky, of San Francisco, CA; and his grandmother, Marion Portman, of Surfside, FL.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 11:00 A. M., at Congregation
B’nai Israel 3830 NW 16th Blvd., Gainesville, with Rabbi David Kaiman, officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Central. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Climb for Cancer Foundation, www.cfc-foundation.org, 5745 SW 75th Street, #317, Gainesville, FL 32608.
