Connor Ringlehan's Obituary
Connor Ringlehan
February 17, 2012 – June 16, 2026
It is with profound sadness and endless love that we announce the passing of Connor Ringlehan, who left this world peacefully on June 16, 2026, at the age of 14, after a courageous battle with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). Connor passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family and wrapped safely in his mother's arms.
Connor was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. He was funny, creative, kind, and endlessly imaginative. He had a gift for making people laugh, often with a perfectly timed comment or an unexpected twist that left everyone around him smiling. His friends knew him as a loyal companion, a talented storyteller, and an "agent of chaos" whose unpredictable ideas somehow always became the adventures everyone remembered most.
Connor loved gaming, history, Dungeons & Dragons, Star Wars, Pokémon, and Project Hail Mary. He could spend hours building worlds, imagining stories, debating lore, or sharing his latest idea. He made every experience more memorable simply by being part of it.
A student at Oak Hall School, Connor was cherished by classmates, teachers, and staff alike. Throughout his life, he displayed a kindness and authenticity that drew people to him. He had an extraordinary ability to make others feel welcome, valued, and understood.
For nearly two years, Connor faced DIPG with remarkable courage. He endured treatments, procedures, hospital stays, and challenges that would overwhelm most adults, yet he continued to hope, dream, make plans, and find reasons to smile. His strength inspired an entire community.
Connor is survived by his loving mother, Dana McCutcheon; his devoted grandparents, lovingly known as Bubba and Grannie; his cousins, Charlee and Eleanor; extended family; countless friends; beloved teachers; caregivers; his father, and a community that loved him deeply.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the physicians, nurses, hospice team, Oak Hall School, M Family Foundation, and the many friends and supporters who walked beside Connor and his family throughout this journey.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to M Family Foundation, whose generosity, support, and unwavering commitment gave Connor and our family moments of joy, magic, and hope throughout this difficult journey. https://pro.gofundme.com/campaign/connor-ringlehan/c813299
