Clinton D. Shealy Sr.'s Obituary
Clinton D. Shealy, Sr., 82, of Bronson, FL died Sunday, January 29, 2023, in Gainesville, FL. Clinton was born July 15, 1940, in Gainesville, FL to Clinton Leon and Nora Ethel Hines Shealy. He worked all of his life as a carpenter and retired as a carpenter superintendent. He enjoyed his lifelong vocation and was very talented with his work. Clinton met and married the love of his life, Susan, over 50 years ago. Together they had four children, of whom he was very proud.
Clinton was an avid Gator football fan. He enjoyed being on the water and fishing in his free time. He had a constant companion in his much-loved dog, Gracie. He was a devoted family man, husband, and provider.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Shealy, four children, Clinton D. Shealy, Jr., Angela F. (Chris) Cornell, Andrea (Bill) Leland, and Lamar (Shilo Lord) Shealy, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and extended family members and friends. All of whom will miss his presence in their lives.
His family will gather to honor his life at a later date in the near future.
