Clinton Roal Croft's Obituary
Clinton Roal Croft, age 65 of Newberry, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018 at E. T York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville. He was born October 3, 1952 in Mayo, Florida to Levis Ovita and Dorothy Nadean Logan Croft. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps, serving two tours in Vietnam as a Forward Observer in Force Recon.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Frances; three children, Kathryn L. Croft-Lyon, Beverly K. Carroll, and Christopher Wayne Croft; two brothers, Leon Croft and Kenny Croft; seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Bronson Road Church, with Pastor Andy Cook officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Cancer Center, 6420 West Newberry Rd, Gainesville, FL 32605, or Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
