Clelan Morgan Fowler's Obituary
Clelan Morgan Fowler, 75, of Gainesville passed away August 21, 2015. She was born January 15, 1940, in Jacksonville, Florida to Walter and Evilee Dawson Morgan. She loved to crochet and read her bible. She loved her family, but most of all she loved our Lord and is and has always been a soldier.
Clelan was preceded in death by her husband, Affie “AJ” Fowler, Jr.; parents, Evilee and Walter Morgan; brother, Roy Denmark; sister, Helen Sullivan; and granddaughter, Sandra Fowler Bristow. She is survived by her sisters, Loyce O’Steen (Frank), Joyce Guyette (Ray), and Genene Byrd (Wayne); four daughters, Kathy Fowler, Gayle Fowler, Carolyn Henderson, and Amy Hannah; sons, Frank Fowler, Elmo Fowler, Wendell Henderson, Scott Hannah, Jon T. Fowler and his fiancé Susan Meadows; ten grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Wayfair Cemetery, Gilchrist County, Highway 340, with Pastor Tim Keyes officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening, August 24, 2015, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 N Main Street.
