Clayton "Boo" Trace Emerson's Obituary
Clayton "Boo" Trace Emerson of Williston, FL passed away suddenly on June 1st. He was 17 years old.
Clayton was born December 19, 2006, to Kelli and Chad Emerson. He was a true gift to our family and we will forever cherish the 17 years we had with him. He was born with a natural happiness that brightened his entire face and was visible in his smile which touched everyone he came in contact with. It's our hope that his bright spirit will live on in all that knew him.
Clayton was a one of a kind kid. He had a heart of gold and was always smiling. Any time you saw him, he would embrace you with a warm hug and show you that beautiful smile. He had an outgoing personality and could be seen around town getting pictures with any cop he could find. Clayton loved being by his mama's side, fishing with his dad and brothers, and being with his family and friends. Clayton and his brothers had an unbreakable bond. As the middle child, he looked up to his big brother, Shayne, and was his baby brother's world.
Clayton is survived by his Mother, Kelli Emerson, Father, Chad Emerson; siblings Shayne Emerson and Raylan Emerson. Grandparents; Virginia and Bruce Kurtz and Wayne and Karen Emerson.
Clayton is preceded in death by his loving Mimi, Niokoa Boyd, and his grandfather Thomas Boyd. Boo loved his Mimi and she cherished and loved Boo dearly.
There are no words to describe the magnitude of the loss of this amazing 17 year old or what he meant to all that knew him.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 11:00 A. M. in the Chapel of Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Downtown, 404 North Main Street, Gainesville. The family will receive friends prior to the services, beginning at 10:30 A. M. Interment will follow in Micanopy Historical Cemetery.
