Dear Ron, I am so sorry for your loss. I loved taking racquetball with Claudia so many years ago and staying at your house during the student murders when we were afraid to stay in town. She was a refuge to so many in so many ways.

I was very sorry to hear about your passing. I am so proud to have known you. You were so energetic and full of life. You didn’t let anything get in your way or get you down. I can’t thank you enough for the opportunities that you gave to me. I loved volunteering in your classroom and volunteering with your students in Adapted Aquatics at the Florida Pool and at your Gator Invitational Sports Ability Games. Your students were always a joy to be around. They were respectful and ready to work hard no matter what activity you had for them to do. I just told someone the other day about your Gator Invitational Sports Ability Games. I am so proud of you for creating that event because you saw a need and you met that need. You have always been an inspiration to me and you will continue to be. I am sure I am not the only one reading this that is prepared to pick up the torch you carried for so long and continue to carry it. Thank you for all you have done and what your memory will continue to do.

I grew up with Claudia and she was one of the sweetest most wonderful people I ever knew. Claudia will be deeply missed by all that knew her and love her.
