Clarice Stansbury Nelson's Obituary
Clarice Stansbury Nelson, age 90 of Newberry, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2015 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. Clarice was born February 9, 1925 in Jefferson County, Alabama. She was a resident of Newberry since 1991 and worked at The University of Florida Library.
Clarice was preceded in death by her husband, A.T. Nelson Jr., in 2001. She is survived by her children, J. Steven Nelson of Clearwater, FL and Mary Ann Cobb of Newberry, FL; grandchildren, Kenny, Craig and Lauren; great grandchildren, Biven, Tyler and Brittany and great great grandchild, Hunter.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Bronson Road Church 13830 NE 80th Avenue, Newberry, with Pastor Andy Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 29, 2015, 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street.
