Clarence Howard Magee's Obituary
Clarence Howard Magee, age 97 of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015 in E.T. York Hospice Care Center. He was born March 19, 1918 in Corry, Pennsylvania to the late Clarence Clement and Masie Pearl Ruggles Magee. Mr. Magee was a graduate of The University of Florida and was employed as an electrical engineer. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a captain.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucile Magee in 2003 and daughter, Jolene Seltzer in 2014. He is survived by his daughters, Clara Darlene Magee and Diana Jean Magee, three grandsons and two great granddaughters.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Clarence Magee will be conducted Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street, with Dr. Greg Magruder of Parkview Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Central.
