Clara Nell Redd's Obituary
Clara Nell Parker Redd, 85, a lifelong resident of Gainesville, Florida, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 20, 2025.
She was born in Gainesville, Florida on March 11, 1940, to the late James Roscoe Parker, and Juanita Parker.
Clara worked at General Electric for many years. She received her associate of science degree as a Medical Assistant from City College and worked many years as a private caregiver. She attended Parker Road Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Allen Lee Redd; brother James Parker and son, Graham Buddy Byrd Jr. She is survived by her sister Susie Key; daughters, Donna Byrd Bobby, and Barbara Moran (Bill); son, Terry Redd. She had 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Williams-Thomas Westarea, 823 N.W. 143rd street, Newberry, FL. with Pastor Kevin Tiller officiating, reception to follow. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 2:00p.m. Interment will be held in Antioch Cemetery, La Crosse, Fl
