Claire Marie Hedrick's Obituary
Claire Marie Hedrick, age 73, of Newberry, Florida passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024. Claire was born on May 7, 1950, in Lewes, Delaware to Charles Lucius and Marie Harriet Monroe Williams.
Claire graduated in 1968, from John F. Kennedy High School in Willingboro, N.J., and in 1971 earned her AA degree at St Johns River State College.
She was a long-time member of the Greater Gainesville Dog Fanciers Association.
Claire was a Data Analyst at Shands Hospital, retiring after 37 years.
She was a Big Disney fan. Her greatest thrill was having two of her dogs, Charlie and Tailor invited to the Westminster.
Claire is survived by her husband of 51 years, George Randolph Hendrick III; and her loving dogs, Dora, Jack Jack, Tinkerbell, Tailor and Rain.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, David Cooke.
