Christopher Mark Springer's Obituary
Christopher Mark Springer, age 61 of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 in E.T. York Care Center. Christopher was born December 27, 1953 in Pascagoula, Mississippi to Stewart and Vergie Fayard Springer. He enjoyed being with family and friends, scanning the morning paper, and watching wrestling. He was of the Catholic faith.
Christopher is survived by his brothers, Michael Springer of Rockville, MD and Phillip Springer of Gainesville, FL and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Springer and half-sister, Diana Springer Murray.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 10900 SW 24th Avenue, with Fr. Kazimierz Ligeza as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to The ARC of Alachua County, 3303 NW 83rd Street, Gainesville, FL 32606.
