Dr Christopher Alan Newton, age 48, died unexpectedly on Sunday May 29, 2016.

He worked at UF Health and the Veterans Administration medical centers since moving to Gainesville, Florida in November 2015.
Chris was a loving husband, father, brother, and physician. As a physician, Chris touched the lives of those he worked with and those who received medical care from him. Chris will be remembered for his kind heart, willingness to take on new roles, unrelenting patience, and his sense of humor.
