Christopher Hawthorne Ellerbe's Obituary
Christopher Hawthorne Ellerbe, 70, longtime resident of Cross Creek, Florida, died at his home on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.
Mr. Ellerbe was born on March 28, 1947 in Frankfurt, Germany to the late Thomas Hawthorne and Helen Cubberly Ellerbe. Mr. Ellerbe lived for many years in Boca Raton, before moving to Cross Creek many years ago. He worked as a substitute teacher and tutor and for many years as a night watchman. He loved to travel.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Jeanie Ellerbe; a nephew, George Ellerbe, and great niece and nephew, Kaylee and Clint Ellerbe, all of Gulfport, Mississippi.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
