Lauren Keane-Dickinson
It still doesn't feel real that my brother Chris is gone. How do you sum up a lifetime of memories? You were my first friend, and my partner in crime growing up. Always the perfect combination of a protective brother, with a fair amount of teasing. (: The funniest person I've ever known, always with the wittiest comeback and observations. On more than one occasion making me laugh so hard that I shot milk out of my nose at the dinner table. You were always your true self and comfortable in your own skin, a rare trait for sure.
You always rooted for the people you loved, and were so happy when your friends and family were doing well. You adored animals, and rescued many that needed a soft place to land.
Losing you has left a void in our family that will never heal. Someone said that grief is the price you pay for love...you were loved beyond measure. We will honor your life by sharing all our memories, laughing again at some point, helping animals in need...and of course cheering for your beloved Steelers and Mets. I'm so grateful that I was lucky enough to
have you as my big brother.
