Chris was born on December 10th, 1986, in California to Craig and Donna Arvin. They moved to Gainesville, Florida in 1987 where he grew up. He graduated from Buchholz High School in 2005 and worked as a landscaper enjoying the outdoors he loved. Chris’ true passion was his family and the outdoors. He loved spending time at the beach, fishing, camping, and playing pool. He loved the ocean and always wanted to be an oceanographer. He studied sharks and sea life and never missed the annual tradition of Shark Week! He took every opportunity to enjoy the fresh salt air and the breeze of the ocean. He also loved magic and cards and always loved to show off his latest trick. He loved playing board games with his friends, especially Sorry. He will be remembered for his warm smile, teddy bear hugs, fighting spirit, and always willingness to lend a helping hand. He had a kind, compassionate, and gentle way about him. Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Arvin. He is survived by his Father and Father’s life partner of Gainesville, Craig Arvin, and Carol Bennett-Tate. One of Chris’ favorite quotes:
Never regret a day in your life. Good days give you happiness, bad days give you experience, worst days give you lessons, and the best days give you memories.
