Chozen Jamar Williams' Obituary
Chozen Jamar Williams was born to Mariah Debose due to a uterus rupture at 37 weeks. He was a Lion from the moment he was born. He was born at North Florida Regional Hospital.
A handsome Angel arrived at 7:30, and he had to be rushed to Shand’s hospital and be cooled. On the first day of his life he was basically in a coma to help his brain and other organs. Chozen fought constantly. When the doctors gave up on him, he proved them wrong and got to come home on September 8th, 2022. He spent time with his mother and big sister.
His mom had him at appointments, faithfully, every week, all the way up until October 14th when Chozen was at his appointment and stopped breathing completely in the waiting room. Chozen was able to be brought back and rushed to Shand’s, where his mom was told he had rhinovirus.
After spending 2 weeks in the hospital, Chozen was able to join his family again, going back to their regular routine. Fast forward to November 22nd, Chozen caught a deadly virus that he fought off by the grace of God and was eventually able to come home again on December 16th. Further looking at him, his mom wanted a 2nd opinion, so she took him to a different hospital where Chozen was admitted to Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville Fl. Upon arriving, they came to the conclusion he had rhinovirus again.
On Christmas, Chozen decided he was tired & ready to give up. He spent his last few days really loved. Chozen gained his wings on December 29th, 2022.
Our litter bear wouldn’t stop, but with having viruses back to back, he just couldn’t shake it this time.
His mom will forever be torn…
