Cherie Aloisi Derby's Obituary
Cherie Aloisi Derby, 64 of Ocala, Florida passed away on May 12, 2015 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. She was born August 2, 1950 in Carmel, New York to Anita and Anthony Aloisi.
Survivors include her husband, John Derby; step daughter, Melissa Wainman (Tom); siblings, Dom Aloisi, Sharon Vigne (Earl), Anthony Aloisi (Ann-Marie), Anita Demarco (Guy), Jack Aloisi, Kathryn Federico (Tony) and Linda Bucchi (Peter). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Thomas and Jackson Wainman and step mother, Gloria Aloisi and twenty nieces and nephews.
Cherie was a long time resident of Mamaroneck and Poughkeepsie, New York. After her retirement, she spent her summers in South Hero, Vermont and winters in Ocala, Florida. Cherie was a talented artist and was an avid golfer. She will be greatly missed by many.
Memorial services for family and close friends will be held in Mamaroneck, New York and South Hero, Vermont at a later date.
