Charles Thomas "Chuck" Whalen's Obituary
Charles Thomas “Chuck” Whalen, age 64 of Gainesville passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022. He was born March 16, 1958 in Syracuse, New York to Charles F. and Mary F. Hogan Whalen.
The family moved when Chuck was 4 years old to Ormond Beach where he grew up. He graduated from Seabreeze High School and attended Daytona Beach Junior College.
Chuck was an avid Gator fan, he enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, he loved the outdoors. He enjoyed playing darts and poker and he loved to travel.
Chuck is survived by his sister, Charlene W. Ruse and his brother, William “Bill” Whalen (Fran).
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mary Frances Ott.
