Charles Edward Sauls' Obituary
Charles Edward Sauls (“Charlie”), born November 7, 1940, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026.
Charlie proudly served his country in the United States Navy before dedicating many years to public service, where he retired after a distinguished career.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Frances Mauzy Sauls; his daughter, Kelly Jones (Kevin), his son, Jim Sauls (Joy); his stepdaughter, Mary Robin Cable (Jaime); his grandchildren, Darren Jones (Heidi), Jason Sauls, Rachel Brunk (Isaac), Sarah Cable, Will Cable, Taylor Ford, and Madison Ford; and eight great-grandchildren: Victoria, Axel, Lucy, Jack, Calvin, Winston, Kace, and Blake.
The family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Hannelore, along with Charlie’s many dear friends, whose love, friendship, and support enriched his life in countless ways.
The family would also like to recognize Haven Hospice for the care of Charlie during this time.
