Charles Pinkoson, MD, was the finest of eye physicians in the community of Gainesville, Florida.
My prayers are for his family during this stressful time.
My fondest memory was that I and Casey Upshaw, his son-in-law and my best friend, had the honor and privilege of designing and drawing the plans to construct their home which they happily lived in many years.
Charlie Pinkoson was a very intelligent and generous man who always had a kind word to say. He will be missed dearly.
My parents were good friends of the Pinkosons for many decades. I was lucky enough to have known the Pinkoson family and what kind, interesting and friendly folks they all were. Lucky too, that he was my eye Dr. for many years. Dr. Pinkoson was instrumental in helping to build Gainesville into the great community it is today. Gainesville has lost a great person and my thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Thank you for being our eye doctor for many many years. You will be truly be missed.

Dr. Pinkoson took good care of me following an eye injury when I was young and was a man I greatly respected. He will be missed. My thoughts are with the family.

Charlie Pinkoson was the personification of the friendliest man you could ever meet. I recall with fondness the memories of the times I was in his presence. To say that he will be missed is a great understatement. My most sincere condolences to his family.
