Charles Marshall Pardee's Obituary
Charles Marshall Pardee, age 73 of Hawthorne, passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Charles was born September 12, 1943 in Skaneateles, New York to Charles Arthur and Patricia Geltin Pardee. A POW/MIA, Charles proudly served his country in the United States Air Force where he served three tours in Vietnam. He then worked in the security industry as a security guard. Charles has been a resident of Hawthorne for 44 years.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Saundra Maria Owensby Pardee; daughter, Christina Wozniak of Texas; son, Charles “Chuck” Pardee of Hawthorne; brother, Marshall Pardee of Palm Coast; grandchildren, Casi Palmer, Charles D. Pardee, Johnny Wozniak and Allen Pfeffer and great grandchild, Mason Palmer.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME HAWTHORNE, US 301 South at Lake Avenue, with military honors. The family will receive friends one-hour prior, beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorials to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
