Mr. Charles Francis "Chuck" Lauch's Obituary
Mr. Charles Francis “Chuck” Lauch, 89, of Gainesville, Florida, died Thursday, December 22, 2022. Chuck was born on December 29, 1932, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Francis and Marie Lauch.
He served proudly in the United States Navy during the Korean War and was married for 65 years to his late wife, Victoria Hampshire Lauch, who preceded him in death in 2021. Chuck was a loving and supportive husband, father, brother, and son to his family. He helped many family members throughout his life whenever asked and worked tirelessly in accounting for the charitable organization, Food For The Poor, in his Ft. Lauderdale community.
Mr. Lauch is survived by his three daughters, Denise Seufert, Laura Chandler, and Christina Heyden; by eight grandchildren, Crystal Seufert, Maxwell Seufert, Carolyn Seufert, Hunter Chandler, Paul Heyden, Anabela Heyden, Isabela Heyden, and Nico Heyden and by one sister, Patricia Farley.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 10:00 A. M., in the Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 10900 SW 24th Avenue, Gainesville, with Fr. Joseph Emmanuel Simon dos Santos, celebrant. Interment will follow in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida with full military honors at 2:00 P.M. Flowers may be sent to Queen of Peace Catholic Church on behalf of the family, or donations in his memory may be sent to Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Philadelphia.
