Some of my most cherished childhood memories feature Uncle Charlie and the rest of you all.
Oddly enough, the one that always springs immediately to mid is the evening my Dad and he were out in the pasture with Piker, that culminated in my dad, one hand on Piker's halter, feet off the ground, being swung through the air.
The look on Uncle Charlie's face just set me off. It was one of the funniest things I've seen, ever.
Some of the advice he gave me has stuck with me my entire life.
I'll be stopping off at church to light a candle today. None of you have ever been absent from my prayers.
