Charles Eddins Dent's Obituary
Charles Eddins Dent of Old Town, FL, went to his Heavenly Home on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Charles was born on December 28, 1932, to Dr. Robert and Lilly Dent of Alva, MS. He was a veteran of the Korean War, a graduate of nursing school, and became a nurse anesthetist. He was also a member of the Masons.
He is preceded in death by his parents Dr. Robert Dent and Lilly Dent, wife Joan Dent, son Chuck Dent, and brother, Robert G. Dent.
He is survived by his two daughters Vicky Dent and Lynda Ritter (Bob), grandchildren, Bryan Bailey, Brandi Bailey, Trey Dent, Robin Dent, Kacie Doolittle, and Kyle Ritter as well as a number of nieces and nephews and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on September 9, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at Old McCrabb Cemetery in Old Town, FL.The family will receive friends half an hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.
