Charles "Chuck" Gunard Brautcheck's Obituary
Charles “Chuck” Gunard Brautcheck, age 53 of Gainesville passed away Friday, August 30, 2024. He was born August 12, 1971, in Eustis, FL to Gunard Charles, Jr. and Joyce Ann Hall Brautcheck.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 25 years before retiring as a Senior Chief. During his Navy career he earned 3 gold stars, 8 achievement medals and the Senior Sailor award in August of 2002.
Chuck enjoyed woodworking, repairing things like cars, watching Star Trek, and other television shows.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Brautcheck; children, Jennifer, Matthew, Sarah; sisters, Sharon Arendall, Karen Brautcheck and the mother of his children, Nancy Espiritu Brautcheck.
A private graveside service will be held at Florida National Cemetery with full military honors.
