I was in Charlie’s class for all the years and Eli goes to my dance Academy. He was so important to me because he was my closest friend if I’m being honest his birthday is in three days and I have never forgotten. It’s always been in my heart Charlie, I wish we could say happy birthday to you here on earth wishing you a happy 12th birthday but sadly you’ll have to say it in heaven. I love you Charlie you’re still and always will be my best friend.

We loved you and missed you
I was a substitute teacher at Baby Gator during undergrad. One of the first classrooms I ever worked in was “Sunflowers” and that’s where Charlie was during the one to twos. I remember the teacher telling me not to worry about the other kids, but to stick with Charlie as to not have any biting accidents. He ended up being one of my favorites. Another memory that makes me smile is by the time he got to the three year-old class always right after lunchtime he would be one of the first kids on his cot and ready to sleep. He was a funny and happy child. I continued at BG for almost 2 years so I got to see Charlie get to the four-year-old class and stayed friends with his mom on Facebook even after I left. It was an honor to be a part of Charlie’s life in such a small way and get to see him grow ❤️

Rob’s love for Charlie is so great that he shared Charlie’s ill health journey with us which allowed us to pray for Charlie and his family.
