Charity truly lived up to her name. I never heard her say an uncharitable word about anyone. She was certainly one to try to emulate. My Dad always loved her and thought the world of her. Probably because he recognized a kindred spirit. I know he was one of the first to greet her with a big hug. We will always love and miss her.
My deepest condolences to Stan and Charity's family. When I was Charity's pastor in the 1980's I truly valued her friendship and gentle spirit. She was an asset to the Newberry United Methodist Church family.

Sorry to read of Charity's passing. She was truly one of the nicest people I knew. While working with Stan at the University, it was always a pleasure to be in her company at social and professional events. She was always warm and made you feel like you were her special friend.
