Cecilia Herskowich Cimerman's Obituary
Cecilia Herskowich Cimerman, age 81 of High Springs, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 at her home. She was born January 4, 1933 in Sosnowiec, Poland to German and Rosa Wielgus Herskowich. Cecilia earned her Bachelor and Master degrees from Louisiana State University. She was a doctoral student at the University of Pennsylvania and a teacher of mathematics. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Samuel (Vickie) Cimerman of High Springs, FL and Richard (Colleen) Cimerman of Silver Spring, MD; daughters, Sandy Hirsch of Pittsburgh, PA and Debbie (Michael) Slater of Newton, MA; brother, Isaac (Beatriz) Herskowich and sister, Fanny Goldstein of Medellin, Colombia and grandchildren, Eytan, Talia, Gavriel, Rachel, Abigail, Edward, Evan, Elena, and Shane.
A Graveside Service was held Monday, September 22, 2014 in Memorial Park Central, with Rabbi David Kaiman officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Hadassah, 50 West 58th St., P.O.
