Cecil Duffy's Obituary
Cecil Duffy, born on December 18, 1963, in Snow Hill, MD, passed away on May 7, 2025 in Waldo, Florida. He was the son of Daniel L. Duffy and Gracie Elizabeth Johnson.
After attending college, Cecil pursued his passion as an auto mechanic, a career he found deeply fulfilling. When he wasn’t working on cars, Cecil cherished his time with family, creating memories and leaving a lasting impact on everyone around him. His life was a testament to joy, hard work, and dedication.
Cecil is survived by, his mother, Gracie Johnson; his children, Rachel Williams, Leonard Strong, Cecil Duffy Jr., Angela McCray, and Tavaris Duffy; and his siblings, twin sister Cecilia Henry, Gwendolyn Rome, Pauline Johnson, Edward Conley, Chebo Duffy, Donald Duffy, Daniel Duffy, Dannette Duffy, Sheila Duffy, Aron Hunt, Ruby Duffy, and Junior Duffy. His legacy is also carried on by his grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Cecil’s memory will be carried on by those who knew him, as his life was one of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family and craft.
A funeral honoring Cecil will be held Saturday May 24th at 3:00 p.m. at Williams-Thomas Funeral Home - Westarea Chapel 823 NW 143rd Street, Newberry, Florida 32669. His family will receive friends beginning one hour prior.
