Cathy was my neighbor, here in Gainesville, and friend. We took care of each other’s homes when one was away. We talked every so often and caught up on the news. During her time of illness we would talk more often and I would try to encourage her and pray with her. She had such a confident spirit about things. She had hope and faith in a positive outcome. I never saw or talked to her where she acted discouraged. She was always upbeat, happy and with a positive attitude. She was this way the last day I saw her before leaving for Moffett. She was a strong, always depending on the Lord. That is how I will remember her!! Thank you Cathy for your friendship and being a good neighbor!! Until we meet again!❤️ Linda Thompson
